External Successes 2025/26

A successful evening last night – we triumphed again in our annual battle with Royal Wootton Bassett CC by 528 points to 510. At comfortable win overall, although at the halfway interval the battle looked tight, with Cricklade receiving some high scores and some low scores, while Bassett performed pretty strongly on all their images. In the second half we managed to gain another 2 “perfect 20” point scores, together with several 19 pointers, and steadily drew ahead – while Bassett only managed 1 perfect 20 score. Our judge, Ralph Snook ,commented favourably on the high standard of the images throughout, and reflected this in his scoring – the lowest marks he awarded were a couple of 14 pointers.

External Successes 2022/23

We are pleased to report that Cricklade had a comfortable victory in the 2023 Annual battle with Royal Wootton Basset CC this year, by 260 points  to 245 points. This means honours are back with us, as we now lead the battles by 3 to 2 !

Highest individual image scores went to Shirley Johnson with a perfect 20 points for “At the Watering Hole” and “Dylan”. A total of 16 members of our club had images displayed on the night highlighting the breadth of talent in the club. Congratulations to all!
